It has been brought to the notice of the Supreme Court that the Delhi Development Authority is proposing to amend the Master Plan of Delhi and steps have already been initiated in this regard.

NGT in the Order dated 26/10/2017 had directed DDA/MCD/DJB to ensure the supply of treated sewage water for gardening.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 06/02/2018 regarding action plan for removal of traffic congestion, Delhi.

The recommendations of the Task Force relating to the action plan for removal of traffic congestion is being implemented according to the Counsel appearing for the Delhi Government and the Delhi Police. But the Apex Court refused to accept such a "bald statement" and asked for specific details along with the Reports on the Comprehensive Action Plan.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of T. N. Godavarman Thirumulpad Vs Union of India & Others dated 05/02/2018 regarding steps to deal with garbage in Delhi. In the affidavit filed by South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) it is stated that the SDMC has initiated action for establishment of an additional Waste-to-Energy project and an Engineered Landfill site, compliant with Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.
