Draft ecomark criterion on coir and coir products

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change implements a Scheme on Ecolabeling environment-friendly products, covering 14 product categories. The Ecolabel, titled ‘Ecomark’ is granted to proponents who already have a product certificate mark from Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), for a specific product.

Tribunal directs Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) to inspect the rice mill and if all the deficiencies have been taken care of, then the rice mill shall be permitted to operate.
