The Andhra Pradesh Government has prohibited fishing activities on sea in the territorial limits of the State by all mechanised and motorised fishing vessels from April 15 to June 15. The non-motorised traditional fishing crafts have been, however, exempted from the prohibition. The main objective of the order is to observe conservancy measures during breeding season of prawn and fish.
