In this modern world of advanced techniques, sewage treatment works are considered to be one of the most popular procedures carried out to use the treated wastewater for agricultural purposes or to dispose off on to the land. The primary objective of this study is to design a Sewage Treatment System for Sri Satya Sai Urban Development Authority (SUDA) in Andhra Pradesh and studying the possibilities for usage of treated wastewater for irrigation. The study area, Puttaparthy being a pilgrim center attracts people all over the world and during some special occasions the place gets over crowded.

The present study assess spatial change in the land cover over the last decade in Pranahita Wildlife Sanctuary, Adilabad district, Andhra Pradesh, India using Landsat TM and IRS P6 LISS III images. From 1993 to 2004, the forest cover had a severe change and lost about 248.87 ha. There was increase in the scrub cover to about 1637.17 ha, which was quantified to be 172.77 ha.

Fly ash is an industrial waste generated from thermal power plants. A large part of fly ash produced is disposed of with very high environmental risk.

This paper is set in the context of a larger development policy debate pertaining to regional inequalities in India. Historically some regions had experienced agricultural prosperity due to their resource endowments especially water. The complementarity between modern inputs and water has boosted the public investments in these regions in order to achieve food self-sufficiency.
