The state Cabinet on Friday approved two solar power plants in Dhule which will generate 150 MW, the largest solar power plant to be set up in the country.

Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said the two power plants-one of 125 MW and another of 25 MW-will come up in the Shivaji Nagar area of Dhule. The project will be launched soon and will be operational by March 2012.
