Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vikrant Kumar Tongad Vs. Union of India & Others dated 04/12/2017 regarding extraction of groundwater by constructions projects in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. CGWA in the report submitted before the Tribunal states that the information about the quantity of water extraction by those who have extracted from the borewell period wise is difficult.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ashwini Kumar & Others Vs. Central Pollution Control Board dated 04/12/2017 regarding discharge of untreated effluents from industries, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. NGT was critical of the three reports submitted by the Joint Inspection Team saying it lacked "evidencery value and denies scientific reasoning" and cited that in two reports BOD at intlet is more than 5000 mg/l while in one report it is shown as 439 mg/l.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Legal Aid, National Green Tribunal Bar Association Vs. NCT of Delhi & Others dated 30/11/2017 regarding state of groundwater in Delhi. The CEO, Delhi Jal Board, Managing Director, DSIIDC and the concerned Secretary of NCT Delhi shall hold a meeting and inform the Tribunal as to clear stand of these authorities collectively with regard to extraction of groundwater in highly exploited areas with reference to Notification dated 10th July, 2010 and regulations thereof and the alternatives that have to be provided.

NGT directs NCT of Delhi and Delhi Pollution Control Committee to submit a report of the hotels that are operating in Mahipalpur.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Saurabh Kumar Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 29/11/2017 regarding sand mining in Uttar Pradesh. Counsel appearing for the State of Uttar Pradesh submits that the Notification dated 2nd November, 2017 is for a very limited purpose by which land owners of agriculture land would be permitted to remove the sand deposits as a result of flood and it does not permit any mining activity as such.
