The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) workshop on the subject of building resilience against climate change to ensure livelihood and food security in Uttarakhand began in Dehradun with a commitment by the State to help agriculture dependent communities in adapting to climate change.

In a bid to develop Dehradun in an organised manner, Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank convened a meeting of urban department officials on Monday where he instructed officials to implement projects related to JNNRUM, aided by Asian Development Bank (ADB) to ensure smooth flow of traffic movement in the city.
