Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of National Green Tribunal Bar Association Vs. MoEF And Suresh Kumar Vs. Union of India & Others dated 24/10/2018 regarding illegal sand mining in Yamuna River bed in the State of Uttar Pradesh. National Green Tribunal directs the States of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to take note of the case and assessment of damages to be done and report to be submitted to the Tribunal.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 27/07/2018 on the issue of pollution in River Ganga including the dimensions of industrial and sewage pollution. National Green Tribunal directs the CPCB and UPPCB to regularly display the results of tests of samples of water at various locations. NGT has been informed that there are 36 real-time monitoring stations and 94 manual monitoring stations.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Bijay Krishna Sarkar & Others Vs Inland Waterways Authority of India & Others dated 14/09/2018. In this Original Application the applicant has sought relief and compensation for the damages caused to river Ganga and its aquatic life by hydraulic structures at Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal which has resulted into loss of the livelihood to the fisherman.
