The air quality in the United States is dramatically declining, leaving about 150 million people -- nearly half of America's population -- breathing unhealthy, heavily polluted air, according to the newly released "State of the Air" 2020 report by the American Lung Association.
सरकार ने राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ वायु कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की है। इस कार्यक्रम के जरिए दिल्ली लहित देश के 102 शहरों की हवा साफ होगी। सरकार की कोशिश है कि वायु प्रदूषण के मुख्य कारक पार्टिकुलेट मैटर पीएम 2.5 और पीएम 10 के स्तर में 20 से 30 प्रतिशत की कमी लायी जाये। राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ वायु कार्यक्रम का मकसद वायु प्रदूषण की रोकथाम, नियंत्रण और साथ लोगों में बड़े पैमाने पर जागरूकता लाना है। ताकि ज़हरीली आबो-हवा असल में प्राण वायु बन सके। विशेष में आज हम राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ हवा कार्यक्रम और इसके तहत उठाए जा रहे कदमों के बारे में बात करेंगे, साथ ही जानेंगे भारत में वायु प्रदूषण का बच्चों पर असर औऱ दुनिया में
जब हम बात करते हैं स्वच्छ भारत और स्वच्छता की तो हमें सिर्फ टॉयलेट बनाने से आगे बढ़ना होगा. सोचिए कि जब हम टॉयलेट का इस्तेमाल करते हैं, तो इंसानी मल कहां जाता है. भारत में 30 फीसदी से भी कम सीवेज लाइनें हैं. तो सोचिए कि रोजाना टॉयलेट इस्तेामल करने के बाद यह कचरा कहां जाता है. इस शो में देखिए कि किस तरह संसाधनों की कमी की वजह से इंसानी मल का निपटारा सही ढंग से नहीं हो रहा और यह हमारे जल स्रोतों को भी दूषित कर रहा है.
After the Delhi government, the Centre has now approached the Supreme Court seeking relief from the crackdown it ordered on diesels cabs in Delhi and neighbouring areas. The ban will impact the BPO industry which uses diesel-run taxis to ferry employees and earns the country billions of dollars every year, the government said.
