Chandigarh: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has sanctioned Rs 127 crore and Rs 245 crore for Punjab and Haryana, respectively, for improving rural infrastructure under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF).

Since the inception of RIDF, Nabard has sanctioned more than 40,000 projects with a loan component of Rs 5,806 crore to the West Bengal Government.
