Totally 19 hydrographical parameters are estimated in the Kamana and Karanji lakes of Mysore city and subjected wot hierarchical cluster analysis with the help of SYSTAT 7.0 software. Similarity of water quaity in different months (variables) is used as measure in hierarchical cluster analysis.

Bhopal, Aug 23: Urban Administration and Development Minister Shri Babulal Gaur has directed the Bhopal Municipal Corporation to purchase dredging machine costing Rs 6 crores to remove silt from the lakes. This machine is not available anywhere in the state at present. This will be the first such machine in the state to be purchased by the Bhopal Municipal Corporation.
