Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jan Sahyog Manch Vs Ministry of Environment and Forest & Others dated 25/05/2017 regarding environment and ecological damage caused by the use of lead in manufacturing of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipes and other products. The Applicant Jan Sahyog Manch has also prayed for stringent directions for withdrawing the PVC pipes out of the market which are containing lead based heat stabilizer.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Pallamari Pahadivali Banjari Devi Jan Seva Samiti Vs Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change & Others dated 23/05/2017 regarding order dated 04.01.2017 & 05.01.2017 passed by the Union of India and State of Chhattisgarh respectively for the diversions of 79.56 hectares of forest land for iron ore mining in East Bhanupratappur forest division in favour of M/s Monnet Ispat and Energy Ltd. in Kanker District Chhattisgarh.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ashwini Kumar Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 23/05/2017 regarding National Policy in regard to protection of indigenous species of cows and livestock to be protected as in some of the States, the said species are diminishing at a very rapid speed. For instance in Kerala, it is 79.9% loss of the indigenous species in just over the period of one decade.
