Ranchi, Jan. 29: Jharkhand has a huge potential for absorbing credit in agriculture and allied sectors, an assessment done by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has revealed.

BHUBANESWAR: The empowered committee of the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) sanctioned Rs 1,859 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) for construction of 1,123 roads to connect 1,790 habitations.

Portable drinking water will be provided from tanks to two regions in the Srinivaspur Assembly constituency under the Rajiv Gandhi Drinking Water scheme, at an estimated cost of Rs 60 crore, said legislator G K Venkatashivareddy.
