KOTTAYAM: The Rubber Board has decided to grant financial assistance to set up demonstration plots for soil protection and water harvesting in small holdings.

According to a release, the scheme intends to set up such demonstration plots in a total area of 1,000 hectares, spread over traditional and non-traditional rubber areas other than Northeast during 2010-11.
