Co plans to increase production of recycled paper.

With a production capacity of over 160,000 tonnes of recycled paperboards a year, the mills of ITC Ltd at Kovai and Bhadrachalam have helped the company attain the distinction of being negative solid waste, said Mr R. Srinivasan, Member-Corporate Management Committee.

IN Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur, one finds neglected and stagnant water ponds in almost every locality. The Rajshahi City Corporation on Friday launched a clean-up drive to dispose of garbage aiming to prevent possible water logging during the rainy season.
With the financial assistance of the Asian Development Bank, the drive was launched through removal of wastes from a drain in the Ganakpara area in the presence of Rajshahi mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton.
