Consumer demand for food safety is likely to be an important driver of public policies and industry-led efforts to reduce information asymmetry on food attributes and improved food safety. This paper examines the attribute demand for chicken meat and tilapia among 803 shoppers in Accra, Ghana.

The safe recovery of nutrients from our waste streams allows us to address the challenges of waste management and soil nutrient depletion conjointly.

Most of the domestic and agro-waste in African cities end up in open dumps and natural water bodies thus causing severe environmental and health problems. These waste streams have resources such as nutrient and energy that can be valorized by transforming them into valuable products.
