Order of the Delhi High Court in the matter of Gokulesh Prasad Vs State of NCT Delhi & Others dated 17/04/2018 regarding construction of public toilet completes in Delhi. Delhi High Court directs the municipal corporations to submit a status report regarding the decision taken with regard to the construction of the public toilets and also directed the municipal corporations to seek help if required from New Delhi Municipal Council in this matter.

Order of the High Court of Delhi in the matter of Sham Sharma Vs Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Others dated 17/04/2018 regarding shifting of illegal dairies. It has come to the notice of the Court that despite allotment of land in Village Ghogha the illegal dairies has not been shifted. Delhi High Court directs the North Delhi Municipal Corporation to file a status report on the shifting of unauthorized dairies within a period of six weeks.

Judgement of the High Court of Delhi in the matter of Mukesh Kumar Vs Ranbir Singh, Commissioner East Delhi Municipal Corporation dated 17/04/2018. The issue relates to regularization of the West Jyoti Nagar Colony, Shahdara, Delhi which was an unauthorized colony. It was stated that in the regularization plan of the colony community facility projects were earmarked and the land earmarked for community facility projects has been converted into illegal and unauthorized residential complexes.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India dated 17/04/2018 regarding cases of fire at Ghazipur landfill, Delhi. East Delhi Municipal Corporation has failed to issue a statement on steps taken to avert instances of fire. Also the report from NCT Delhi regarding investigation about causes resulting in fire instances has not been filed.
