The State of Rahasthan had constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner, Bharatpur, to look into the grievance of the Sadhu Saamaj Samiti with particular reference to the Parikrama Kshetra in District Bharatpur in Nagar and Pahadi Tehsil. Tribunal have been informed that so far the committee yet to visit the area.

Khedekar Vs Ministry of Environment and Forests & Others dated 14/07/2017 regarding the Environmental Clearance (EC) granted by the State Level Environmental Impact Assessment Authority, Maharashtra (SEIAA) for the construction project of Mssrs. SD Corporation Pvt. Ltd. The project, in question, is a redevelopment project of a colony situated at Poisar Village, Mumbai.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rakesh Kumar Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 13/07/2017 regarding unauthorized constructions in a park in Block-G, Sector-44, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Applicant has also requested for removal of all broken stones/mulba dumped by Noida Authority and to maintain the green belt for the benefit of all the residents of the Sector.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Almitra H. Patel & Anr. Vs. Union of India & Others dated 12/07/2017 regarding inadequate solid waste management practiced by hotels and malls in Delhi. The counsel appearing for the MoEF submits that he will seek instruction whether M/s. Lemon Tree Hotel has been inspected or not. No reply to the show cause notice has been filed. NGT grants last opportunity to file the reply.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Yogendra Mohan Sengupta Vs. Union of India & Others dated 12/07/2017 regarding construction activities in the city of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The Court expresses its displeasure at the delay of the Himachal Pradesh Government to file their response/objections to the report submitted before the Tribunal. NGT grants final opportunity to the State of Himachal Pradesh to submit its response/objections, if any, additional or otherwise.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Indian Council for Enviro- Legal Action (ICELA) Vs. Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change & Others dated 12/07/2017 regarding regarding thermal power plants located in the basin area of river Ganga discharging effluents into river Ganga, Uttar Pradesh. NGT directs MoEF and CPCB to conduct a joint inspection of the thermal power plant at Panki, Kanpur and submit a detailed report to the Tribunal.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Khatima Fibres Ltd. Vs. Uttarakhand Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board & Others dated 11/07/2017 regarding pollution caused by Khatima Fibres Ltd., Udham Singh Nagar District, Uttarakhand.

NGT directs that Khatima Fibres Ltd. shall bring its TSS (Total Suspended Solid) value as close as possible to 30 mg/l and would also ensure that their effluent from the outlet of the ETP is recycled to the extent it is possible but in any case not more than 25% of the effluent shall be discharged into the drain.
