Meerut: A new high-speed train route between Anand Vihar in Ghaziabad and Meerut has been sanctioned, officials said here on Thursday.

The route, sanctioned at a meeting on Wednesday, has been surveyed by Delhi Integrated Multi Modal Transit System (DIMTS) and will have a total of 14 stations with seven of them located in Ghaziabad district, they said.

LUCKNOW: The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sanctioned the work for widening of 20-km stretch of National Highway-24, between the Delhi-UP border and Dasna and making it a 6-lane facility.

The factory was in operation for the past several years and it was supplying mineral water to various areas in Delhi and NCR, police said.
