The Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) is tight-lipped over test reports of samples taken by its teams from 38 industrial units in Ludhiana on July 16 and 17. Chairman of the board Yogesh Goel said since the case (Pollution in Buddha Nullah) was pending with the Punjab and Haryana High Court, he would provide all details to the court on the next date of hearing.

Non-pasteurised milk is the most common carrier of this infection as mycobacterium is the main cause of tuberculosis in bovine animals, which is transmitted to humans through infected milk and milk products.
