Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Residents of Bhatpara Municipality Vs State of West Bengal dated 02/04/2019 regarding illegal sand mining in District North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, near Naihati Bandel Railway Bridge, Kanchrapara Bansberia Road Bridge at Jagatdal Meghna Ghat. The report submitted by the West Bengal State Pollution Control Board (WBSPCB) corraborates the fact that sand mining was taking place in which four boats with suction facility were being used.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sudhansu Sekhar Kuanr & Others Vs State of Odisha & Others dated 01/04/2019 regarding illegal mining in more than 29.90 acers of cashew forest land known as Kisam Jungle in Madanpur Mouza in Ghasipura Tahasil of Keounjhar District embrisied in Khata No. 754, Plot No. 2824 of that village. The applicant has stated that illegal mining is taking place without any approval document in the forest area and that during 2012 criminal prosecutions have been lodged against 5 different persons for trespassing in the forest area.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of News item published in "Indian Express" Authored by Vishnu Varma Titled "17-year-old's video gets Kerala talking of impact of sand mining" dated 29/03/2019 regarding unscientific mining by Centre Rare Earths Limited and Kerala Minerals and Metal Limited along the coastal area of Kollam in Kerala. A report filed by the State PCB states that the matter of coastal erosion and measures for sustainable mining are being studied by National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS).

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahendra Saini, President, Moda Pahad Sangharsh Samiti Vs State of Rajasthan dated 27/03/2019 regarding 35 stone crushers illegally operating in Moda Pahad area within the municipal limits of Jhunjhunu Municipal Council, within 1.5 km of the habitation and within the prohibited range from National Highway and State Highway. Their operation is causing lot of pollution to the environment and the inhabitants.
