Hyderabad, June 26: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is avoiding the payment of nearly Rs 50 crore as water charges to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.

The water board supplies 80 million gallons water per day (MGD). The corporation has not been making monthly payments for the last eight months.
