The links between ecosystem approaches to health, natural resource management and poverty reduction are being identified as important and relevant across an increasing number of disciplines and institutions. However, specific implementation guidance is scant.

This report, using empirical evidence from research in Niger and north-east Brazil, aims to identify how climate change adaptation can be integrated within the water sector to benefit the most poor and vulnerable people.

This bill recommends establishment of the Uttar Pradesh Water Management and Regulatory Commission to regulate water resources within the State. The Commission shall work within framework of the State Water Policy to promote and monitor
optimal utilization of water resources.
