The new industrial policy, taking into account the current economic scenario and prospective developments, lays particular emphasis on further strengthening the base of the manufacturing sector besides knowledge based & high tech industries, efficient use of
energy, conservation of resources and pragmatic environmental policies for sustainable development.

As a welfare state, the Government of Haryana recognises that acquisition of land under the statute and the alienation of landowners from their source of livelihood could be a painful process, notwithstanding the payment of compensation for the same as per law.

This policy aims at providing reliable and cost effective passenger transport facility to the consumer in rural areas including the interior small and big urban centers and semi-urbanized areas. It is likely to provide direct/indirect employment to about 6000 people. This Scheme may be called the Haryana Transport Policy, 2010.
