The share of crops in the gross value of output of agriculture and allied sectors has declined by 7.5 percentage points in the last 10 years, while livestock’s share has increased by 5 percentage points during the same period, shows this report released by the National Statistical Office (NSO).

Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has developed a National Indicator Framework (NIF) for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in sync with Global Indicator Framework (GIF) for SDGs, along with identified data sources and periodicity for facilitating the monitoring of 17 SDGs at the national level.

Based on India's Sustainable Development Goals-National Indicator Framework (SDGs-NIF), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), releases the progress report for SDGs on National Statistics Day, i.e., on 29th June every year.
