Question raised in Rajya Sabha on Ranking of Cities on the basis of Swachh Bharat Mission, 01/12/2016. The Ministry of Urban Development has released the ranking of 73 Million plus cities including State Capitals which were surveyed under Swachh Survekshan-2016. The ranking was announced on 15th February, 2016. The details of rankings are at Annexure-I.

Separate data about samples of soft drinks having been tested/found not conforming to specified standards, has not been compiled centrally.

Question raised in Rajya Sabha on Population of tigers, 28/11/2016. The assessment of the status of tigers, co-predators and their prey 2014 using the refined methodology has shown estimated number of 2226 (range 1945-2491) tigers in the country. The State-wise details are at Annexure-I. All India Tiger Estimation, 2014 has shown a countrywide 30% increase in tiger numbers with an estimated number of 2226 (range 1945-2491 tigers) as compared to 2010 estimation of 1706 (range 1520-1909 tigers).
