PWD denies felling trees in S Delhi project

New Delhi: Public Works Department on Wednesday told National Green Tribunal that no tree has been cut by it or its contractor for a road widening project on the Andheria Mod-Mahipalpur Road.

The project was stopped in February after residents approached the court against the reported unauthorized felling of trees by PWD.

CM lays emphasis on afforestation in state
