The India Pollution Map, a website project at the Centre for Development Finance (CDF), has tracked the government pollution monitoring regime and has mapped aspects of air and water quality through an online mapping tool.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) will now give information on the quality of air we breath in the national Capital.The data will be displayed on big LCD screens to be put across city's 11 districts. The screens will also provide weather updates.

The IMD is already in the process of selecting the places to set up the air quality stations.
