Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s Ashok Vihar Mitra Mandel Vs. The Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Others dated 28/03/2016 regarding dumping of hazardous wastes containing heavy metals in the green belt, Delhi. The Counsel appearing for Delhi Pollution Control Committee submits that samples have been collected from the place which is allegedly used for dumping of hazardous wastes and analysis of samples will bring out the merit of the present case.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mantri Shyam Prasad Vs. NHAI & Ors. dated 02/03/2016. The grievance of the Applicant is that the trees are being uprooted and the greenery of the green belt is being destroyed. Counsel appearing for the NHAI submits that it is not their construction but it is being handled by the Greater Vishakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.

NGT directs the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation to ensure that the trees are not uprooted and the green area is not destroyed in any manner whatsoever.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Abhishek Dutt & Anr vs. South Delhi Municipal Corporation dated 14/01/2016 regarding removal of Dhalo (garbage station) from area designated as park/lawn as per the layout plan of DDA opposite House No. D-40 & A-20, NDSE part II, New Delhi.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant submits that this Dhalo has been in existence since last seven years. Virtually, the relief sought seeks implementation of master plan.
