The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday restrained the Capital Development Authority (CDA) from converting the green belt of F-11 sector into residential plots for its employees.

Over 40 counters were set for the allotment of economically weaker sections (EWS) housing at the Sabarmati riverfront on Wednesday. The procedure for allotment on the basis of a 'computer lottery system' was undertaken at the counters.

SHILLONG: Seventeen towns and cities have been chosen as benificiaries under the Rajiv Awas Yojna. In pursuance of the Government’s vision of creating a slum-free India, a new scheme called ‘Rajiv Awas Yojana’(RAY) was launched on June 2 this year, which is expected to cover about 250 cities across the country by the end of the 12th Plan.
