Solan MC to pay Rs 1 lakh compensation for air pollution

Giving a clear message to polluters, the Principal Bench of the National Green Tribunal directed the Municipal Council, Solan, to pay Rs 1 lakh as compensation for the callous and irresponsible attitude of the council for causing air pollution.
