The mine lease area is within 1 km of the boundary of Jamwa Ramgarh Sanctuary.

It has been brought to the Apex Court's notice that one general order cannot be passed in respect of every National Park / Sanctuary. It will depend on each State and also on each National Park / Sanctuary. In other words, the Eco Sensitive Zones have to be site specific.
