The wild life officials of the forest department on Tuesday morning finally trapped a wild cat that was on the prowl inside the city limits of Thane. Water woes are likely to end at Ambernath as the Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran (MJP), which supplies water to the town, is likely to start 24-hour water supply.

This comes into effect after the MJP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Public Utility Board (PUB), the national water agency of Singapore, for urban water management.
