NGT directs periodical inspections of the railway station and its vicinity to ensure compliance of the pollution norms and expresses it deep concern with the lack of appropriate ETP and inappropriate and inefficient enforcement of the Solid Waste Management Rules, Plastic Waste Management Rules and other rules.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Almitra H. Patel & Anr. Vs. Union of India & Others dated 22/09/2017 regarding waste dumping at the Ghazipur landfill site in Delhi. Tribunal directs NCT Delhi, East Delhi Municipal Corporation to place before the Tribunal, a Report and Action Plan in regard to the manner and methodology that would be done by them for the purpose of dealing with segregation, compaction and disposal of the deposited waste of the Ghazipur land fill site as well as the fresh waste of nearly 800 MT that is being brought to this site everyday.
