A sub-committee of heritage conservation architects and environmental experts will decide on the fate of the long-pending Rs 443-crore Byculla Zoo modernisation plan.
The sub-committee will be headed by heritage panel member Cyrus Guzder. Vikas Dilawari and Sabyasachi Mukherji, director, Prince of Wales Museum, will be members of the committee.
