The Delhi government on Monday decided to continue extending a rebate of `6,000 to each domestic consumer for installing solar water heaters. The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting presided over by chief minister Sheila Dikshit.

Ms Dikshit said extension of the scheme for one more year will go a long way in saving the environment.
