Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ramesh Chand Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 19/09/2018 regarding severe degradation of environment in Kullu and Manali areas of the State of Himachal Pradesh. It was alleged that the consent to various projects was freely given in the area in violation of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and encroachments of forest land was freely allowed in connivance with the concerned Authorities.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 15/05/2018. Attorney General has placed before the Apex Court the Action Plan for monitoring of all construction activities in Delhi and fixing of responsibility in case of violations of Master Plan, unified building Bye-laws and other illegal construction activities.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of In Re: T. N. Godavarman Thirumulpad Vs Union of India & Others dated 14/05/2018 regarding misuse of environment protection funds.

Supreme Court observed that prima facie it appears that the funds are being used for the purposes other than what was intended from the affidavit submitted by the counsel for the State of Meghalaya. Apex Court requests the assistance of ASG with regard to appropriate and proper utilization of funds not only by the State of Meghalaya but by all other States.
