NGT in the Order said that since in the case of new brick kilns a mandatory condition for establishing multi-layered green belt is imposed, it would also be applicable to the brick kilns existed prior to or after the year 2000.

Pandya & Others dated 02/03/2017 regarding extraction of groundwater from borewells by business units in Jagannath Shankar Sheth Road, Mumbai. According to the Applicant, water is extracted from the borewells for the purposes of trade without having any NOC or valid permission Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
