New Delhi: With rains and hailstorm lashing Punjab and Haryana for the second day, the weather continued to worry farmers as well as the government keeping a watch on the wheat harvest for the season.

Sonepat: A number of villages in Sonepat, Kharkhoda, Rai and Gannaur blocks of the district were lashed by hailstorm for around 10 minutes, causing damage to standing crops and hampering the work of harvesting and thrashing of wheat crop.
