To promote green technology and attract passengers to make use of public transport, the Jaipur City Transport Service limited (JCTSL) will soon introduce articulated (double buses) and hybrid (battery operated) buses in the city.

According to officials, a total of four buses, including two articulated and two hybrid buses, will be procured in the new fleet of JCTSL. Recently, the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) has sanctioned 286 buses for the city.

Pune: A plan that is expected to steer the city’s development for the next three decades has been approved by the elected members.
