This document presents the details on monitoring of glacial lakes and water bodies in the Indian Himalayan region during the month of October 2021 using satellite remote sensing technique including the data used and methodology followed in this study.

Grievance in the application is against violation of environmental norms in the course of construction of a storm water and sewage water drain at a Rajakaluve, at Jayanagar near J.P. Nagar, Bengaluru.

The matter related to environmental clearance granted to gas based combined cycle power plant. The project site is located in the vicinity of Puttenahalli lake, Bengaluru north taluk, Yelahanka Hobli and the lake is part of Yelamallappa Chetty series of lakes in Bengaluru. The Puttenahalli lake is declared as a 'Bird Conservation Reserve' under section 36-A of the Wildlife Act 1972 by the government of Karnataka, April 29, 2015.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of H. P. Ranjanna Vs Union of India & Others dated 30/07/2021. The matter related to construction activities around the wetland area in Bengaluru, Karnataka - the city had a large number of lakes, but there is substantial extinction/disappearance due to encroachment, reclamation in the name of development.

The issue of ecological damage to the area between two lakes namely Kaikondarahalli Lake and Kasavanahalli Lake was taken by the NGT. 

More than 8,000 million metric tons of plastic have been made since the beginning of large-scale plastic production in the 1950s. As a consequence, plastic debris is present in all ecosystems, including remote locations such as mountain lakes and polar sea ice.

This atlas provides the details of glacial lakes present in the Ganga River basin including their hydrological, geometrical, geographical, and topographical attributes. The satellite data used and methodology followed in delineating the lakes are also discussed.

Report of the Joint Committee constituted by the National Green Tribunal (SZ) vide order of November 23, 2020 in Original Application No. 246 of 2020.

6th periodical report of Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) regarding Patancheru pollution dated 24/11/2020. The TSPCB stated that as per the directions of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), all the 17 categories of highly polluting industries were directed to install Online Pollution Monitoring Systems for their ETPs and the data to be connected to TSPCB and CPCB servers.

All the effluent carrying tankers were enforced to have GPS tracking devices and are connected to SPCBs GPS tracking system to avoid illegal dumping.
