Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Vanshakti & Anr V/s Mun. Corpn of Greater Mumbai & Ors. dated 12/02/2014 regarding Kanjurmarg dumping site. NGT has directed that reclamation and landfilling shall not be done at the disputed site till the next order. The order also stated that "It was also noticed that the construction of landfill site was
in progress for which rampant reclamation was being carried out."

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vanshakti & Anr. Vs MCZMA dated 06/02/2014 regarding Kanjurmarg dumping ground. NGT order says that there is "some ambiguity as regards the area of 65.96 hectares which is mentioned in the order of the MOEF and so also to the High Court. So also there is ambiguity as regards the observations regarding excess area which is landfilled/developed/reclaimed by the Project Proponent".
