Jalahalli residents’ protest against officials enters third day

The indefinite protest by the residents of Jalahalli, a village in Deodurg taluk, outside the office of the Jalahalli Gram Panchayat, entered the third day on Wednesday.

Officials Asked To Complete Formalities

Lucknow: The Food Security Act (FSA) will be implemented in Uttar Pradesh from July 5. Chief secretary Jawed Usmani made this announcement saying directions have been issued to the department heads concerned to complete all formalities on priority basis to ensure that the Act comes into force completely as per schedule.
