Especially, on a weekend the struggle to park your car in a crowded market area or multiplex increases ten times. According to a report there are a total of 18 lakh registered passenger cars in Delhi.

New Delhi: The majestic Rajpath was completely choked on Monday as numerous vehicles of visiting political leaders were parked at the historic stretch in the heart of the Capital.

As the parking lots around Parliament filled up, vehicles of leaders headed to see the debate on confidence motion were parked on all the nearby roads in Luytens' Delhi. NEW DELHI: Parking in posh localities of M-Block Greater Kailash-I and Defence Colony will cease to be a nightmare for Delhiites as the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has embarked on an ambitious scheme to construct two automated multi-level parking and commercial complexes at these two locations within two years.

In order to ease the parking chaos in Kolkata, the state government needs to work on concrete plans to have more parking plazas in the city, state public works department minister, Mr Kshiti Goswami said in the Assembly today.
