This Haiti Sustainable Energy Roadmap—developed in partnership with Haiti’s Bureau of the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Energy Security—explores the issues involved in building a sustainable electricity system based on domestic energy resources and capable of providing modern electricity services to all Haitians.

This report presents results of a three-month study commissioned by Climate Parliament – an international network of legislators working to promote RE to combat climate change. The primary audience of this report is state-level policymakers in the electricity domain.

This document consists of Guidelines, to lay the grounds towards the preparation of a Model Comprehensive Renewable Energy (RE) Policy in Indian states. The Guidelines provide an overall policy framework to support State Government and other agencies to formulate long-term and comprehensive State Renewable Energy Policy.

India has led the developing world in addressing rural energy problems. By late 2012, the national electricity grid had reached 92 percent of India's rural villages, about 880 million people.

UNDP MDG Carbon has recently released Guidance Paper which describes a model approach to financing the development, implementation, and operation of a sector-wide programme for renewable energy rural electrification as a Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Action.
