The Ministry of Health has finally asked the tobacco industry to make arrangements for printing of pictorial health warnings on 50 percent of cigarette packs and outers.

The government, by withdrawing the Statutory Rules and Orders (SRO) on designated smoking areas has completely banned smoking at all public places to protect non-smokers from the hazards of passive smoking.
