NEW DELHI: Facing a severe power crisis, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday urged the Centre to release more electricity to the Himalayan State and also transfer 25 per cent power from the 1000-MW Tehri project, being given to Uttar Pradesh, to Uttarakhand to meet its growing demand for electricity.
