AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat high court on Friday issued notices to the state revenue department, the Mundra Port SEZ (MPSEZ), the Centre and Kutch district collector on basis of a PIL filed by people of Navinal village demanding a huge chunk of the grazing land (gaucher), which has been allotted to the company by the government.

A policy document would be prepared for afforestation on wastelands and developing horticultural saplings with the cooperation of people.
The document will be prepared by Environmental Planning and Coordination Organisation (EPCO).

This was informed at a meeting of the Housing and Environment Department where Chief Minister Shviraj Singh Chouhan reviewed departmental activities.
