In the present study different water quality parameters i.e. physico-chemical, heavy metals, haloalkanes, pesticides & most probable number of bacteria were analyzed in pre-monsoon, during monsoon & post monsoon season. The study area selected was Narayangiri Filtration Plant in Bhopal city.

The present study deals with statistical analysis of physico-chemical parameters of ground water quality in Nambiyar river basin. The quality of ground water has been assessed by using correlation coefficient (r) between all parameters. A systematic correlation and regression study showed linear relationship among different water quality parameters.

An investigation has been carried out for the evaluation of fluoride contamination in Sambher block of Jaipur district. Results were compared with standards as prescribed by ISI and WHO.

In the present study the pollution of a major North Bihar lake, the Kawar Wetland was studied with special reference to their effects on flora, fauna and local human population. The water of the lake is turbid, acidic and is having higher conductivity. The dissolved oxygen level was estimated as 7.6 mg/L, free CO2 6.3 mg/L, bicarbonate 80 mg/L, hardness 90 mg/L, chloride 17.0 mg/L.

In this study the treatment of simulated hexamine wastewater in a lab-scale, subsurface up-ward flow root zone system was investigated.

Overgrazing accelerates soil and vegetation degradation in rangelands. So, Livestock Population Density-i.e. allocated number of sheep per ha can serve as an index for measuring pressure on range environment. For this purpose, Sadra region has been selected as the study area, where it is located in the upper reaches of Maharlu basin, Fars Province, Southern Iran.

In this study, the anaerobic digestion of different types of organic wastes including swept flour from the floor of flourmills, leftover food and vegetable waste is investigated. The performance of an anaerobic digester is dependent on the type and composition of the materials to be digested as well as the environmental factors such as pH and temperature.

The present study has been carried out to see the effect of pulp and paper mill effluent on seed germination and seedling growth of mustard, pea and rice. Mustard, pea and rice seeds were allowed to germinate in soil taken in different earthen pots and treated with different concentrations of effluent.

Underground drinking water samples of IM2 hand pumps at twelve different sites at Moradabad were collected and analysed for physico-chemical water quality parameters following standard methodology of sampling and estimation to assess underground aquatic contamination at Moradabad. The estimated values were compared with drinking water quality standards prescribed by W.H.O.

Investigation on bioaccumulation of heavy metals like lead, cadmium and mercury by pigeonpea an important pulse crop of India, were undertaken. The experiments were performed to evaluate the extend of accumulation of these metals in the aerial parts of the plant.
