JAIPUR: A delegation of the European Union MP and European Commission met chief minister Ashok Gehlot here on Thursday. The delegation admired the effective implementation of the water projects worth Rs 450 crore, funded by the European Commission, in the state.

The 11-member delegation headed by Bill Newton Dunn is in Rajasthan to evaluate the progress of the ongoing projects and identify new projects. The delegation would make recommendations for special assistance in new projects here.

JAIPUR: The scientists of India and Slovenia are working together to study how dangerous is the Hepatitis E virus (HEV) and how to diagnose it as its symptoms are quite similar to other liver ailments.

It is a three-year collaborative research which started this month in a laboratory in Kaladera near Jaipur. The scientists will collect samples from across the country. JAIPUR: Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) on Thursday announced that it would launch housing schemes in Mansarovar, Pratap Nagar and Indira Gandhi Nagar this year in the city.
